OVERVIEW Welcome to Broken Sigil. The terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the entity Broken Sigil, directed by The Architect. We provide this sanctuary, including all information, artifacts, and services, conditioned upon your acceptance of these Terms of Service. By interacting with our Archive or procuring an artifact, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Covenant.

SECTION 1 - ACCESS AND ELIGIBILITY By agreeing to these Terms, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction of residence. You are responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your account credentials. The Architect reserves the right to refuse service to any entity at any time.

SECTION 2 - THE ARTIFACTS (PRODUCTS) We strive for absolute fidelity in the digital representation of our items. However, due to the nuances of digital displays, we do not warrant that the physical artifact will perfectly match the color rendered on your screen.

Product Safety: All artifacts curated by the Archive comply with applicable safety standards of the European Union. International initiates are responsible for ensuring that the artifacts meet local safety or import regulations within their own territory.

SECTION 3 - THE PROTOCOL OF ORDERING When you place an order, it constitutes an offer to purchase. Your order is only accepted once you receive a formal confirmation of shipment. We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order for reasons including, but not limited to, suspected fraud, stock discrepancies, or logistical barriers.

SECTION 4 - PRICING AND GLOBAL DUTIES All prices are listed in Euro (€).

Import One-Stop Shop (IOSS): For EU-based initiates, VAT is collected at checkout.

International Duties: As artifacts ship from global archival wings, you are the Importer of Record. You are responsible for any local customs fees, the standard €3/item EU e-commerce duty (where applicable), or taxes incurred upon entry. Broken Sigil cannot predict or refund these government-levied costs.

SECTION 5 - TRANSIT AND RISK Delivery timelines are estimates and not guarantees. Broken Sigil is not liable for delays caused by global logistics, customs clearance, or atmospheric events beyond our control. The risk of loss and title for artifacts passes to you the moment the item is transferred to the carrier.

SECTION 6 - INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY The aesthetic, names, logos, "The Grid," and all content within Broken Sigil are the exclusive property of The Architect and are protected by the laws of Portugal and International Intellectual Property Treaties. Any unauthorized use of our Sigils or branding is strictly prohibited.

SECTION 7 - ACCESSIBILITY The Architect is committed to ensuring our digital sanctuary is accessible to all initiates. We strive to align our digital architecture with WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards. If you encounter a barrier within The Grid, please contact us immediately.

SECTION 8 - RELATIONSHIP WITH SHOPIFY Broken Sigil is powered by the Shopify infrastructure. You acknowledge that your transaction is exclusively with Broken Sigil, and Shopify bears no liability for the products or services rendered herein.

SECTION 9 - PROHIBITED CONDUCT & DARK PATTERNS You are prohibited from using our Services for any unlawful purpose or to transmit malicious code. We reject the use of manipulative "Dark Patterns"; all selections, including newsletter initiations and order confirmations, are designed for clarity and symmetry.

SECTION 10 - DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES; LIMITATION OF LIABILITY The Services and all artifacts are provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by Portuguese law, Broken Sigil shall not be liable for any injury, loss, or consequential damages arising from your use of the artifacts.

SECTION 11 - GOVERNING LAW & DISPUTES These Terms are governed by the Laws of Portugal and applicable European Union regulations. For international initiates, this means that while we respect global consumer rights, the legal seat of any dispute remains the courts of Portugal.
